At Hartco Consultancy, we are committed to providing a professional, transparent and secure purchasing experience from the moment you enquire about an artwork through to collection or delivery.

Secure your chosen artwork exclusively for up to seven days while arranging the remaining balance.

Where a deposit has been paid, the outstanding balance is normally payable within seven days.

Typical delivery period

Professional delivery is typically completed within fourteen days of receiving cleared payment.

01 — Reservations

Reserving an Artwork

If you require additional time to complete your purchase, we recommend securing your chosen artwork with a 10% reservation deposit.

This allows us to reserve the artwork exclusively for you for up to seven days whilst you arrange the remaining balance.

If you choose not to leave a reservation deposit, we are still happy to send all purchase documentation for your review. Whilst we will always endeavour to hold the artwork for you, we cannot guarantee its availability without a reservation deposit.

Priority to proceed

Should another customer wish to purchase the same artwork during this period, we will contact you first and provide you with the opportunity to proceed before making the artwork available to another buyer.

02 — Paperwork

Purchase Documentation

Once you decide to proceed, all relevant purchase documentation, including invoices and sales paperwork, will be sent electronically via DocuSign for review and signature.

Where required, documentation may also be provided by post.

03 — Payment

Balance Payment

Where a reservation deposit has been paid, the remaining balance is normally payable within seven days.

Artwork will only be released once full payment has been received and cleared.

04 — Fulfilment

Collection or Delivery

Once payment has cleared, customers may choose to collect their artwork or arrange professional delivery.

Option One

Collection

Collect your artwork by prior appointment from Hartco Consultancy. Our team will confirm the collection arrangements once full payment has cleared.

Option Two

Professional Delivery

Have your artwork professionally packaged and delivered. Delivery is typically completed within fourteen days of receiving cleared payment.

05 — Care & Handling

Packaging & Delivery

Every artwork is professionally packaged to help ensure it arrives safely.

Deliveries are made using trusted courier services or specialist art carriers depending on the size, value and destination of the artwork.

Whilst every effort is made to deliver within the stated timeframe, delivery dates are estimates and may occasionally be affected by circumstances outside of our control.

06 — Title

Ownership of Artwork

Ownership of all artworks remains with Hartco Consultancy until full payment has been received and cleared.

07 — Delivery Issues

Damaged Deliveries

If your artwork arrives damaged, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery.

Where possible, please retain all packaging and provide clear photographs of the artwork and packaging so we can investigate and resolve the matter as quickly as possible.

The artwork, exterior packaging, internal protective materials and delivery label may be required as part of our investigation.

08 — Returns

Returns & Refunds

Customer satisfaction is important to us. If you wish to discuss returning an artwork, please contact us as soon as possible.

Where a refund is agreed, funds will be returned to the original payment method used for the purchase.

If an artwork arrives damaged, please notify us within 48 hours and provide photographs of both the artwork and packaging.

Each case will be assessed individually and, where appropriate, we will arrange a replacement, repair or refund.

Your statutory rights

Nothing within this policy affects your statutory consumer rights.

09 — Security

Secure Payments

Hartco Consultancy uses secure, FCA-regulated payment providers to process card payments.

We utilise industry-standard encryption to protect customer payment information.

Hartco Consultancy does not store customers’ full card details.

10 — Regulation

Compliance

Hartco Consultancy Ltd is committed to maintaining the highest standards of regulatory compliance.

We operate customer due diligence procedures where appropriate and comply with applicable Anti-Money Laundering legislation.

Additional verification may be requested before completing certain purchases.
